Cosmo Gold is a Los Angeles-based visual artist, creative director, motion designer, and musician whose multidisciplinary practice bridges physical and digital realms.

Working across collage, animation, film, motion graphics, and creative direction, she builds surreal, cinematic worlds from found imagery, archival material, photography, handmade elements, and texture. Her work carries a tactile, analog sensibility into moving image, transforming the static into sound, pacing, and narrative.

Cosmo’s visual practice grew out of a desire to build ambitious worlds for her music. As both a musician and visual artist, she approaches image-making with an inherent sense of rhythm, atmosphere, and evocation. Her work often exists somewhere between music video, short film, fine art, and visual collage, where the sacredness of the human condition hums beneath the surface. She approaches the creative process as an extension of her spiritual practice and an ongoing dialogue with her muses - allowing images and sounds to lead her somewhere unexpected.

Whether developing her own creative vision or bringing someone else’s to life, Cosmo works across concept development, visual identity, storyboarding, directing, editing, post-production, motion graphics, and VFX. She works primarily in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, and currently serves as lead animator at Desert Beach Studios, following a creative collaboration with it’s Founder and Creative Director, Dewey Saunders, that began in 2025. Born in London and raised between California and Connecticut, she studied at UC Santa Cruz and earned a Certificate of Excellence in Film Post-Production and After Effects from UCLA. Her work lives comfortably within music, fashion, film, and contemporary visual culture.
