Task

Al Menne, from Great Grandpa, is not only a talented musician and lyricist, but they are also a prolific painter. When Al approached me to create a timelapse music video of them painting the art work for their single “Task”, I readily accepted the challenge of giving an otherwise static shot a feeling of movement and excitement. For this video I used a blend of paints, mixed-media collage, digital illustration and After Effects animation.
